MARCH 2026 SERVICE SCHEDULE FOR SAINT PATRICK’S CHAPEL IN CLIFDEN, IRELAND
As we enter into the Great and Holy Fast of Lent, we will serve special Pre-Sanctified Liturgies on Wednesdays as a consolation to those who are endeavouring to endure the length and strictness of the fast. We have also shared our collection of fasting recipes, generously contributed by many individuals over the years. Essentially a task of distress exposure therapy, fasting during Lent allows for strenuous progress to be made toward self-discipline, restraint, and detachment from worldly gratifications. At the end of the month, on Sunday 29.03, we will celebrate (one day ahead of the calendar) the feast of our incredible (and accomplished ascetic) patron Saint Patrick!
