SCHEDULE OF THE UPCOMING ORTHODOX EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP
In anticipation of the recently announced Orthodox Educational Workshop, to be held on Friday 28.03 and Saturday 29.03 at the Monastery of the Life-Giving Spring in Roscommon, we can confirm more details about the event, including the schedule. Also, we will be able to offer participation via Zoom for those who wish to participate but are unable to attend in person. Orthodox Educational Workshop Schedule
Friday
- 5 pm – Welcome and Introduction.
- Opening thoughts by Dr. Valentina Tarkovska
- Supporting thoughts by Martin Rybacki, Iconographer and Art Historian presenting on Art and Orthodoxy
- Supporting thoughts by Mother Maria (Wall) head of Bethany School for Girls, Israel via Zoom: (more about Mother Maria and her work can be found here.)
- 8 pm – Dinner
- 9 pm – Evening Prayer with the sisters
Saturday
- 7 am – Morning prayer with the sisters
- 9 am – Breakfast
- 10 am – Presentation by Mat. Anastasia Williams on the Development of an Orthodox Curriculum, including troubleshooting with online curriculum.
- Followed by open discussion, feedback, and brainstorming.
- 1 pm – Lunch
- 2 pm – Dismissal.
